Summary Statement
In an open-ended project promoting creativity, I chose to honor the relationship between my grandmother and grandfather, with content straight from their own notes to each other and photos they had taken. This booklet served as a dedication and memorial to their extraordinary relationship.
Project Overview
The project started with research, gathering material from my grandmother’s diary. Notes from my grandfather to my grandmother made up most of the text in the booklet, along with time-appropriate photos. I took care and time, placing and organizing the content in a manner representative of their relationship. It followed a photo album feel and format, with a creative twist.
Final Assets
A small, 8 page zine was the final product, printed and cut. The physical quality of the end project helped pull together the content in a consistent manner.
