Increasing Online Interaction
Summary Statement
As a branch of Bethel Student Government, the Marketing and Communications Team made it a goal to optimize marketing across channels. As the Director of Web Operations, the school year began with the specified goals to revamp the BSG webpages and to improve social media presence.

Project Overview
Working in congruency with the Marketing and Communications team, I began revamping the BSG webpages before the school year began. Originally, the pages were confusing, with low relevancy information. The goal was to reduce the amount of information for clarity and to clean up the remaining content to gain interest—adding new photos, updating names and titles, etc.
Social media required a strong plan going into the year. We brainstormed weekly posts, and stayed on top of campus events and happenings to keep the student body informed. Content and photos were posted at least 5 times per week, increasing student following specifically on Instagram and Facebook.
Final Assets
A simple example of webpage improvements includes the restructuring of the infrastructure of the BSG pages. Focusing on the most relevant information, pages were cut allowing for a much more simple navigation.
A successful implementation within social media was the addition of a weekly #mugshotmonday post, where students would be featured in a natural part of their day with a question prompting an interesting quote. Students had the highest interactions with these posts, enjoying seeing their friends and classmates highlighted.
